Anthony Barfield Anthony Barfield, a native of Collinsville, MS, is a Masters student of Dr. Per Brevig at Manhattan School of Music. Mr. Barfield began his trombone studies at the age of 12.  He received his BA from The Juilliard School in 2008 as a student of Joseph Alessi.  Prior to Juilliard, Mr. Barfield was a student at The University of Alabama while studying with Daniel Drill.
